Our Logo Story

Mixed Roots Stories highly values national and global community involvement and participation, as we strive to fulfill our mission: To celebrate and strengthen diverse Mixed communities through the power of sharing stories. When we began to discuss what we wanted in a logo, we knew that with our commitment to community, we wanted them to be involved. We worked with the graphic designers at Zerflin to design our logo, but not just one logo, multiple logo options that the community could provide feedback and vote on. We wanted the communities voice to have a say in the selection of our final logo.
The community has spoken, the vote is in! Mixed Roots Stories is excited to announce that we now have a logo that reflects both our mission and the voice of the community. Thank you to everyone who voted and provided feedback on the important logo selection decision. We understand the important purpose and function of a logo. We are pleased with our new logo and look forward to honoring the communities logo choice in our continued pursuit of our mission and commitment to diverse Mixed communities.
